Harrison Owen
A way of hosting large group meetings that is self organising. It allows people to
develop their own ways of working together and create their own way forwards.
Harrison Owen believe’s that Open Space brings people together in a way that
enables learning. It shows that everything is valuable and that everyone has
something to offer.
The Structure
– Everyone sits in a circle: This removes traditional hierarchical group
dynamics.
– Post a bulletin board: Everyone writes down anything they want to
discuss on the board.
– Open the market place: People sign up to discuss ideas.
– Get to work: Now get on with it.
